This Privacy Policy describes how Telimed ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

We collect personal information directly from you when you register for an account, book a consultation, communicate with us or practitioners, or otherwise interact with the Telimed platform. This may include:
- Name, date of birth, email address, phone number, residential address
- Health-related information you provide (e.g. symptoms, medical history, health goals)
- Information from consultations, including chat messages and video session logs (where applicable)
- Billing and payment information
- Practitioner-related business and registration details (for practitioner users)
By creating an account and using the Telimed platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal and health information as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
2. Use of Personal Information
We use your personal information to:
- Provide and administer our telehealth services
- Connect you with suitable health practitioners
- Enable communication with practitioners before and after consultations
- Provide support, respond to inquiries, and improve user experience
- Send appointment reminders, platform updates, and marketing content (where you’ve opted in)
- Comply with legal obligations, including under healthcare regulations
We will not use your sensitive information (including health information) for secondary purposes without your consent, unless otherwise permitted by law.

- Healthcare practitioners you book with
